The 2026 Georgia lieutenant gubernatorial election will take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the lieutenant governor of Georgia. On July 8, 2025, incumbent Republican Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones announced that he would run for governor in 2026, opting against seeking reelection as lieutenant governor.[1]
