Pachet (Persian: پچت; also known as Pacham and Pajat)[3] is a village in Ashrestaq Rural District, Yaneh Sar District, Behshahr County, Mazandaran province, Iran.
Geography
Pachet is located 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Behshahr, in the eastern Alborz mountains. It has access to the road connecting Galugah to Damghan, as well as Behshahr-Gorgan road. The closest villages to Pachet are Parem to its east and Sheykh Mahalleh to its west. Neka river is to the north of these villages and runs from east to west.[2][1]
Demographics
People of Pachet speak the Mazanderani language.[2]
At the 2016 census, its population was 291, in 98 families.[4] Increased from 169 people in 2006.[5]
The agricultural prducts of Pachet are wheat, barley, rice, millet, honey, peach, apple, Parsley and animal products.[2]
