Jirband (Persian: جيربند, also Romanized as Jīrband)[1] is a village in Ashrestaq Rural District, Yaneh Sar District, Behshahr County, Mazandaran Province, Iran.
Geography
Jirband is located in the mountains of Alborz, 130 km (81 miles) away from Sari. It has a cool temperate weather that attracts tourists.[2]
Demographgics
At the 2006 census, its population was 128, in 36 families.[3]
The villages of Jirband and Jurband togheter had a population of 274 in 2016.[4]
