The 2024–25 season was the 141st season in the history of Coventry City Football Club and their fifth consecutive season in the Championship. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, and the EFL Cup.

Pre-season and friendlies

On 24 May, Coventry City announced their first pre-season friendly, away against SV Darmstadt 98.[4] Their second pre-season friendly was announced on 29 May, a home tie against SV Werder Bremen.[5] On 6 June, it was announced that Coventry City will host Everton.[6] On 14 June, it was announced that Coventry City will travel to Stevenage.[7] On 9 July, Coventry City announced that they will travel to Getafe for a game to be played behind closed doors.[8] Coventry City kicked of their pre season calendar with a previously unannounced behind closed doors game against Port Vale.[9]
