Friendlies

On Friday 17 May 2024, Charlton announced their first pre-season friendly against Dartford.[63] On Wednesday 5 June 2024, Charlton announced their second pre-season friendly against AFC Wimbledon.[64] On 1 July 2024, Charlton announced their third and fourth pre-season friendlies against Göztepe - which would take place during their training camp in Slovenia - as well as a home match against Portsmouth.[65] On Thursday 4 July 2024, Charlton announced their fifth and sixth pre-seasons matches against Millwall and Crystal Palace which would both be played behind closed doors.[66]
