Roger Alexander is a Trinidad and Tobago politician from the United National Congress (UNC). He has been MP for Tunapuna in the House of Representatives since 2025.[1]

Career

Alexander had a career with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.[2] He was a senior superintendent.[3] Alexander was the co-host of the TTPS Beyond the Tape television programme on TV6.[4] He resigned from the police to stand in the 2025 Trinidad and Tobago general election.[5] Alexander unseated Esmond Forde from the People's National Movement (PNM).[6] After the election he was appointed Minister of Homeland Security by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.[7]
