The Maharashtra State Senior Menʼs Football League (MSSMFL) is the state-level football league in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the highest state-level football league in Maharashtra organised by the Western India Football Association, currently contested by 8 clubs.[1][2]
History
This inaugural edition marks a significant step in elevating senior men's club football in Maharashtra. Eight leading teams from six regions will compete in a unified, month-long league at the Sinhgad Sports Complex in Lonavala from May 10 to June 5, 2025.[1]
The league will follow a double round-robin format with 56 matches, offering intense competition and a crucial platform for I-League 3 aspirations.[1]
