Podwojponie ([pɔdvɔi̯ˈpɔɲɛ]; Lithuanian: Pavaiponė[1]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[2] It lies approximately 7 km (4 mi) north-east of Szypliszki, 27 km (17 mi) north-east of Suwałki, and 132 km (82 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
