Łowocie [wɔˈvɔt͡ɕɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szypliszki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[2] It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) south-east of Szypliszki, 19 km (12 mi) north-east of Suwałki, and 121 km (75 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
According to the 1921 census, the village had a population of 92, entirely Polish by nationality and 91,3% Roman Catholic by confession.[3]
