Oitharei (English: Help Me) is a 2024 Manipuri film[1]written by Lambamayum Premchan and directed by Dinesh Naorem.[2] The film is produced by Gibanlata Thokchom under the banner of Kathe Films and presented by Naorem.[3] Sanjuna Likmabam, Sunny Naoshekpam and Suraj Ngashepam star in the lead roles. The film was released at Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) on 3 January 2025. It was screened at the 2nd North East India Film Festival, Manipur 2025 under the competition section.[4][5][6]The film was certified "U" by CBFC.[1]

Plot

The film tells the story of Leima, one of the innocent victims of the ethnic conflict that broke out in the state of Manipur.

Soundtrack

Rahul Blue composed the soundtrack for the film and Lambamayum Premchan and Dinesh Naorem wrote the lyrics.[7][8] Arbin Soibam and Kenedy Khuman are the playback singers of the songs.
