The 2nd North East India Film Festival, Manipur took place from 12 to 16 February, 2025 at Imphal and Kakching, Manipur.[1][2] The festival had screened 28 films from North East India.[3] It was organised by THOUNA in association with Film Forum Manipur and Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Government of Manipur.[4] A total of 15 feature and 13 non-feature films were screened at the festival.[5] The opening ceremony was held at City Convention Centre, followed by screening of the opening film Mareibak Ningba Herachandra.[6][7][8] The closing ceremony was held at Library and Information Centre, Kakching.
