Nocardiopsis is a bacterial genus from the family Nocardiopsaceae which can produces some antimicrobial compounds,[1][3][4] including thiopeptides.[5] Nocardiopsis occur mostly in saline and alkaline soils.[6]
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[1] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).[2]
