Vulcanimicrobiota is a monotypic phylum of incertae sedis bacteria. It has one valid class Vulcanimicrobiia.[1][2] Vulcanimicrobiota is one of the two valid bacterial phyla that does not belong to any kingdom, the other being Fidelibacterota.[2]
