Lawrence John Sullivan is an American priest of the Catholic Church who serves as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Early life

Sullivan was born in Chicago. He attended Niles College Seminary, followed by Mundelein Seminary. Sullivan was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago on May 23, 1992.[1]

Episcopacy

Pope Francis appointed Sullivan auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago, assigning him the titular see of Lamfua on December 20, 2024.[1][2][3] Sullivan was consecrated as a bishop on February 26, 2025.[4]
