Gil Kola (Persian: گيل كلا, also Romanized as Gīl Kolā; also known as Gīlkalā)[2] is a village in Kelarestaq-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Chalus County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 316, in 108 families.[3] Up from 240 people in 2006.[4]
Gil Kola is located west of Sardab Rud river, connected to Chalus city through rural roads. Its nearby villages are Najjar Kola in west, Arab Kheyl in south and Tazehabad in east. The village's agricultural products are rice, Kiwifruit and citrus fruits.[1]
