"Candidatus Hodarchaeum" is a monotypic genus of Promethearchaeati archaea.[1][2] It contains the sole species "Candidatus Hodarchaeum mangrovi". It is in the monotypic family "Candidatus Hodarchaeaceae", monotypic order "Candidatus Hodarchaeales", monotypic class "Candidatus Hodarchaeia" and monotypic phylum "Candidatus Hodarchaeota".[3]
