Bandar Thana is an administrative thana of Barisal.[1] The thana has a population of 88,385.[1][2] It has an average literacy rate of 55.84%.[1]
Geography
Bandar Thana borders Kawnia Thana in the north, Bakerganj upazila in the south, Mehendiganj and Bhola Sadar upazilas in the east and Kotwali Model Thana, Barisal in the west.[1]
