Abdullah IV (ʿAbdallāh bin Dunama Muḥammad[1]), also called Dala,[2][3] was the mai of the Kanem–Bornu Empire in 1563–1570.[2]
Life
Abdullah was the son of Dunama VI Muhammad,[4] who he succeeded as mai in 1563.[1][2] There were apparently few events of note in Abdullah's reign, other than a famine.[3]
Abdullah was succeeded as mai by Aissa Koli, widow of Ali II Zainami, in 1570.[2]
