The 9th Army Corps (Ukrainian: 9 армійський корпус) is a Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.[1][2]
History
The 9th Corps was first publicly mentioned in April 2023, following the leak of a series of classified U.S. Department of Defense documents.[3] Established specifically for Ukraine's 2023 counteroffensive, the corps played a role in the operation.[2] Units from the 9th Corps formed a large part of the initial wave during the summer counteroffensive of 2023.[4][5]
