9-1-1 is an American procedural drama TV franchise created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.[1] The franchise focuses on the lives and careers of first responders—police officers, paramedics, firefighters, and dispatchers—who navigate high-pressure emergencies alongside their often-complex personal lives.

In February 2025, a third series 9-1-1: Nashville was announced by ABC.[2] The franchise is known for its dramatic portrayals of emergency scenarios ranging from everyday crises to large-scale disasters.
