9-1-1: Nashville is an upcoming American procedural drama television series set to premiere on ABC during the 2025–26 television season. It serves as the second spin-off of the 9-1-1 franchise, following 9-1-1: Lone Star, which concluded in early 2025. The series is created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear and Rashad Raisani, with Brad Falchuk and Angela Bassett also serving as executive producers.

Production

Development

Following the cancellation of 9-1-1: Lone Star, ABC announced a straight-to-series order for 9-1-1: Nashville in February 2025.[5] The decision to set the series in Nashville was influenced by the city's distinctive musical culture and scenic setting.

Casting

On March 17, 2025, Chris O'Donnell was announced to be joining the cast.[6] In April, it was announced that Jessica Capshaw had joined the cast.[7] The following month, LeAnn Rimes and Kimberly Williams-Paisley were announced to star.[8] The following month, Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz and Hunter McVey were announced as series regulars.[4]

Broadcast

The show is expected to premiere during the 2025–26 TV season on ABC. Episodes will also be available for streaming on Hulu.

Franchise

The original series, 9-1-1, premiered in 2018 on Fox, focusing on first responders in Los Angeles. It was followed by 9-1-1: Lone Star in 2020, set in Austin, Texas. 9-1-1: Nashville marks the franchise's expansion into a third major American city.
