2026 MotoGP World Championship
The 2026 FIM MotoGP World Championship will be the premier class of the 78th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road Racing World Championship season, the highest level of competition in motorcycle road racing.
2026 is expected to be the final season of the premier class utilizing 1000cc engines and Michelin series-specified tyres, before switching to new 850cc engine regulations and tyres sourced from Pirelli, among other technical changes, from the 2027 season onwards.[1][2]
At this season, MotoGP will introduce a new racing class featuring Harley-Davidson motorcycles starting in the 2026 season. This class will be called the "International Bagger Series" and will feature Harley-Davidson Bagger motorcycles modified for racing, competing in six different MotoGP series in Europe and North America.[3]
