The 2024–25 season is the 18th season in the history of 1. FC Heidenheim as a legally independent club, and the club's second consecutive season in the Bundesliga. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the DFB-Pokal and the UEFA Conference League, their first ever appearance in a major European competition.
