The 2022 Naga, Camarines Sur, local elections were held on May 9, 2022, within the Philippine general election. Voters selected candidates for the local posts of mayor, vice mayor, and ten city councilors in Naga City.

Background

Naga City, composed of 27 barangays, had 117,481 registered voters in 2022. The Liberal Party, a long-dominant force in the city’s politics, fielded incumbent officials for reelection, with several independent candidates also participating.

Coalitions

The filing of certificates of candidacies for the 2022 local elections were conducted from October 1 to 8, 2021, during which local slates were formalized and announced.[1]
