Wimberley Independent School District is a public school district based in Wimberley, Texas, United States. In addition to most of Wimberley, the district serves the city of Woodcreek.[2] In addition to Hays County, it extends into Comal County.[3]
The district was formed on July 1, 1986, from portions of the Hays Consolidated and Dripping Springs districts.[4]
In 2011, the school district was rated "Recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[5]
