White Horse Common is a hamlet near North Walsham in the North Norfolk district of the county of Norfolk, England.[1] It is located to the southeast of North Walsham town centre. It forms part of North Walsham's civil parish.[2]

History

Mission Church

White Horse Common was first established in 1883 and 1892,[3] with the establishment of a mission church in the area.[4] The church was in use until around 1933. It has since been converted into a private residence.

Pillboxs

A historical place of interest are two former WW1 pillbox's[5] located on the "Pillbox Trail".[6]

Geography

White Horse Common is close to North Walsham[7] and the settlements of Spa Common and Honing. It is mostly rural but partly attached to North Walsham's urban area.[8]
