The Brooklyn Gothams were an American basketball team based in Brooklyn, New York that was a member of the American Basketball League.
The team was originally called the Westchester Indians and was based in White Plains, New York.[1] They relocated to Brooklyn, New York and became the New York Gothams on January 20, 1945. They settled on the name Brooklyn Gothams at the end of the 1945/1946 season.
