Vakhtang Lolua (Georgian: ვახტანგ ლოლუა; born 10 May 2007) is a Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler competing in the 55 kg weight class. He won a bronze medal at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships in Bratislava.[1]
Career
Lolua started wrestling at a young age in Georgia. He competed at the 2024 World U17 Wrestling Championships, reaching the quarterfinals in the 60 kg category.[2]
In June 2025, he participated in the 2025 European U20 Wrestling Championships in Caorle, Italy, and secured a bronze medal in the 60 kg weight class.[3]
At the 2025 European Wrestling Championships in Bratislava, he competed in the 55 kg category and earned the bronze medal. In the semifinal, he lost to Turkish wrestler Bünyamin Gümüş, but won the bronze medal bout against Armenia’s Manvel Khachatryan by an 8–1 score.[1][4][5]
