Ughelli Rovers FC was established with the aim of harnessing the abundant football talent in Ughelli and its environs. Inspired by a deep-rooted passion for the sport, founder Oke Umurhohwo brought together promising players he had discovered through years of sponsoring local football tournaments.
The club's slogan, "Eguono V' Ovwian" (Love and Hardwork), encapsulates its core values. It emphasizes the importance of both love and dedication in achieving success on and off the pitch. The club aims to foster a strong sense of community and unity among players, staff, and supporters..[5]
