UFC on ESPN: Dolidze vs. Hernandez (also known as UFC on ESPN 72 and UFC Vegas 109) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on August 9, 2025, at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States.[1]
Background
A middleweight bout between Roman Dolidze and former LFA Middleweight Champion Anthony Hernandez is scheduled to headline this event.[1] They were initially scheduled to compete at UFC 302 in June 2024 but Hernandez was forced out of the bout due to a torn ligament in his hand.[2]
A women's bantamweight bout between former UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship challenger Mayra Bueno Silva and Joselyne Edwards was expected to take place at this event.[3] However, Bueno Silva pulled out due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Priscila Cachoeira.
