The 2008 FIBA Europe Under‑20 Championship – Division B was the fourth edition of FIBA Europe’s second-tier under‑20 men’s basketball tournament, held in Târgu Mureș, Romania, from 11 to 20 July 2008. Sixteen national teams competed across three venues, with the tournament structure including a preliminary round, qualifying round, and knockout stage leading to promotion opportunities. Romania emerged as champions, earning promotion to Division A alongside the runner-up, Belarus. The competition also featured individual standouts such as Terrence Oglesby, the tournament’s leading scorer with 24.4 points per game, and Titus Nicoară, who led in rebounds at 15.1 per game. The event contributed to the development pipeline for future European professional talent.
