Tyler Jay Young (born 4 June 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.[1]

Early life

Young is the son of Ashley Young. In 2014, at the age of seven, he joined the football academy at Premier League club Arsenal.[2][3] He later spent time in the academies of Milton Keynes Dons and Queens Park Rangers.[4]

Club career

After leaving Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2024, Young joined League One side Peterborough United on a one-year contract after a brief trial.[5] He made his debut for Peterborough on 8 October 2024 in the EFL Trophy against Stevenage, in a 2-0 win.[6][7] In May 2025, it was announced that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.[8]

Personal life

He is the son of professional footballer Ashley Young.[9][10] He is of Jamaican descent through his father.[11]
