Tomas Raymond Leahy (born 31 March 2004) known as Tom Leahy, is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Isthmian League Premier Division club Welling United. He is capable of playing as a striker, as well as on the left and right wing.
Career
Millwall
Prior to joining Millwall, Leahy had spells at Chipstead, Brighton & Hove Albion and Bromley.[3] On 21 July 2024, in a fixture on Millwall's pre-season tour to Spain, Leahy scored the winning goal in a 2–1 win against Real Murcia.[4] After featuring in several matchday squads during the 2023–24 campaign, Leahy made his first-team debut during Millwall's 4–3 away defeat to Bristol City in August 2024, replacing Shaun Hutchinson.[5]
Leahy was a member Millwalls U21 team that won the 2022/23 U21 Professional Development League[6] and National Play-Off Double, as well as the 2023/24 League Winners.[7]
Loan spells
On 6 September 2024, Leahy joined National League club Woking on loan until January 2025.[8] He went on to make his debut a day later, during a 0–0 draw with Braintree Town, replacing Matt Ward in the 73rd minute.[9] On 28 September 2024, Leahy scored his first goal for Woking against Sutton United, a header in the 74th minute.
On 13 January 2025, it was announced that Leahy had returned to Millwall following the conclusion of his loan spell.[10] He scored his final goal for the club during a 4–0 home victory over Radcliffe in the FA Trophy.[11] Leahy started 7 games in all competitions, scoring 4 goals with 4 assists, playing a total of 731 minutes.[12]
On 21 February 2025, Leahy joined National League South side Maidstone United on loan for the remainder of the season.[13] At Maidstone, he has featured as a striker, as well as on both the left and right wings. During his time with the club, he scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists,[14] helping them reach the 2025 National League Play-off final, during which Maidstone manager George Elokobi described Leahy contributions as absolutely electric.[15]
Leahy was released by Millwall at the end of the 2024–25 season.[16]
Non-League
On 2 June 2025, Leahy agreed to join recently relegated Isthmian League Premier Division side Welling United.[17]
