Tom Cursons (born 15 November 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays for Harrogate Town, as a forward.[3]

Career

Cursons spent his early career in non-league with Metropolitan Police, spending time on loan at Badshot Lea.[4][5][6]

After time with Walton & Hersham, he joined Hartley Wintney in December 2021.[7]

He joined Gainsborough Trinity in January 2022,[8][9] moving to Long Eaton United in November 2022.[10][11] He moved to Barwell in August 2023.[4]

After joining Ilkeston Town, he signed a new contract with the club in February 2024.[12] Following rich goalscoring form across both seasons,[13] which saw 12 goals in 18 games in 2023–24,[14] and 25 goals in 31 games in 2024–25,[15] in September 2024 Ilkeston rejected an offer for Cursons from an unnamed club.[16] He also captained the football team of Nottingham Trent University.[17]

In January 2025, after reportedly attracting attention from a number of Football League teams,[18][19][20] Cursons signed for Harrogate Town,[21][22] turning professional with the club.[23]
