The Heart of Steel

The Heart of Steel is a documentary directed by Angelo J. Guglielmo, Jr., which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006.^[1] Personally selected by festival co-founder, Jane Rosenthal, this historical film chronicles a group of ordinary citizens who volunteered in the search and rescue and cleanup efforts after the collapse of the World Trade Center following the September 11 attacks.

Critic David Edelstein wrote in New York Magazine that the film was "an amateurish yet touching documentary".^[2]
