Plot summary
The ghost of Eleanor Canterville haunts the family castle, trying to scare away any newcomers. She succeeds in this task perfectly. But everything changes when the Otis family arrives and buys the castle. Eleanor is upset that she cannot scare this tribe from the 21st century. Even worse, the children make fun of it and the parents don't even notice her presence. Only fifteen-year-old Virginia Otis, affected by the fate of the Canterville Ghost, will seek to save the castle from the curse.
