The Blue Idol (film)

The Blue Idol (Hungarian: A kék bálvány) is a 1931 Hungarian comedy film directed by Lajos Lázár and starring Pál Jávor, Oscar Beregi and Gyula Gózon.^[1] It was shot at the Hunnia Studios in Budapest. The film's sets were designed by the art director Márton Vincze.

Following his bankruptcy Baron Lóránt György emigrates to the United States with his faithful valet Péter. Their initial attempts to find work, including as waiters, are unsuccessful before they encounter the millionaire Turner and his daughter Mary.
