Tanvi The Great is an upcoming Hindi-language drama film directed by Anupam Kher.[2] Produced by Anupam Kher Studio and NFDC.[3] The film stars Anupam Kher[4] and Iain Glen.[5][6][7][8] It is set to theatrically release date on 18 July 2025.[9]
Plot
Tanvi Raina (Shubhangi Dutt), a 21-year-old woman on the autism spectrum, lives with her mother Vidya (Pallavi Joshi) and grandfather Colonel Pratap Raina (Anupam Kher). Inspired by her deceased father, Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army officer who dreamed of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier, Tanvi becomes determined to follow in his footsteps and join the army to fulfill his dream herself.[10]

Production
Anupam Kher announced the film through a social media post on the occasion of his 69th birthday on 7 March 2024.[11] It was also said that the shooting of the film will start on the day of Maha Shivratri i.e. 8 March. [12]
