Tamatea

Tamatea is the Māori term for the lunar phase equivalent to the European "first quarter". In the traditional calendar the 21st to 24th nights after the full Moon are known as: Tamatea-āio, Tamatea-angana, Tamatea-kai-ariki, Tamatea Tuhāhā or Tamatea Whakapau.[1]
