TV TEM São José do Rio Preto (channel 26) is a television station in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, affiliated with TV Globo, member of TV TEM and owned by Traffic Group. TV TEM São José do Rio Preto's studios and transmitter are located on Jornalista Roberto Marinho Avenue, in the Jardim Yolanda district.
History
The station was founded on April 21, 1986 as TV Globo Noroeste Paulista. In 1998, it was renamed TV Progresso and on May 6, 2003, when it was acquired by the businessman José Hawilla, owner of Traffic Group, it received its current name.

On September 20, 2012, the station started officially its digital transmissions, over UHF channel 26.[1]
Transition to digital signal
The station turned off its analog signal, over VHF channel 2, on April 18, 2018, as part of the federally mandated transition from analog to digital television.[2] The station's digital signal remains on its pre-transition UHF channel 26, using PSIP to display TV TEM São José do Rio Preto's virtual channel as 26 on digital television receivers.
