TV Anhanguera Jataí is a television station located in the city of Jataí, Goiás, one of the affiliates of TV Globo in the Central-West Region. It operates on digital (channel 34) and virtual (channel 2).
History
It was inaugurated on May 31, 2004, the date of the 109th anniversary of Jataí,[1] being the seventh television station operated by Grupo Jaime Câmara in the interior of Goiás. Its coverage area covers part of the municipalities of Southwest Goiás, while another part is covered by TV Anhanguera Rio Verde.[2]
The station won an award in 2011 for its report A vida na roça.[3]
