St. Mary's Orthodox Syrian Church, Valiyapally, is situated near West Kallada, Kollam District, Kerala. The church is administrated by Malankara Orthodox Church. The church is believed to have been established near 823 A.D by Mar Sabor and Mar Proth, Syrian fathers. The church is famous for its Mor Anthrayos feast, the Syriac Orthodox Bishop of Jerusalem. After the visiting of Manarcad, Puthenkavu, Kuruppampady and Mulanthuruthy, Mor Anthrayos was entombed in Kallada.[1][2][3][4]
