Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (India)

Sri Krishna Medical College (SKMCH) is a medical institution located in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. It was established on 11 May 1970. SKMCH is affiliated with Bihar University of Health Sciences and offers courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

History

The first batch of students was admitted in 1969-70, and classes began at the S.K.J. Law College building in Muzaffarpur.

On 1 October 1979, the college was taken over by the Bihar government.

In 2010, SKMCH became affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, after previously being part of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University & also accredited by the Medical Council of India[1]

SKMCH Superspeciality Hospital

SKMCH Super Speciality Hospital, located within the SKMCH campus, was built at a cost of ₹150 crores to provide specialised medical facilities.[2]
