The Somaliland Football Association (SFA; Somali: Xidhiidhka Kubadda Cagta Somaliland, Arabic: صوماليلاند اتحاد كرة القدم) is the governing body of football in Somaliland. The association was established in 2011.[1] The current Chairman is Mohamed Abdi Dixood, and the General Secretary is Samatar Mohamed Abdillahi.[2]

Somaliland became a member of the Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA) in 2015 and participated in the 2016 CONIFA World Football Cup held in Abkhazia.[3] In 2019, Somaliland was announced as the host of the 2020 edition of the tournament, but this was later revoked due to concerns regarding their ability to fund it.[4][5] Somaliland would later leave the organisation and is no longer affiliated with any governing body. Somaliland has a FIFA application that is pending on recognition as a country. Should the FIFA application be approved, Somaliland would be eligible to play in the Confederation of African Football and CECAFA.
