Sidney Edelstein Prize previously known as the Dexter Prize is an award of the Society for the History of Technology to the author of a scholarly book in the field of the history of technology that was published during the preceding three years. The award was established in 1968 by Sidney Edelstein, the founder of the Dexter Chemical Corporation and an expert on the history of dyes.[1][2]
