Sheykh Hasan (Persian: شيخ حسن)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Lahijan Rural District[b] in Khosrowshah District of Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Lahijan,[6] now a city.[5]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,240 in 552 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,667 people in 811 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,515 people in 776 households.[2]
