Salminek [salˈminɛk] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Gietrzwałd, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 km (4 mi) south-west of Gietrzwałd and 22 km (14 mi) south-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
