Salma Ranggita Cahyariyani (born 15 January 2003) is an Indonesian social activist, model and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2025 and will represent Indonesia at Miss Cosmo 2025.[1][2]
Early life
Salma was born in 2003, from Palembang City, South Sumatra. She graduated from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia in 2024.
Career
Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 1 2025
In 2025, Salma participated in the selection of candidates for the province of South Sumatra to attend the Puteri Indonesia 2025 Beauty Pageant at Graha Mustika Ratu, Jakarta, where she was finally successfully selected to represent South Sumatra 1. After successfully winning the title of Puteri Indonesia South Sumatra 1 2025, she was qualified to represent the province of South Sumatra to participate in the national beauty pageant Puteri Indonesia 2025.[3]
Puteri Indonesia 2025
After successfully qualifying as one of the province's representatives with the title of Puteri Indonesia South Sumatra 1 2025, Salma represented the province of South Sumatra in the national beauty pageant Puteri Indonesia 2025 held at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta International Convention Center in Central Jakarta on May 2, 2025, coinciding with National Education Day.
On the final night, Salma successfully passed the top 16, 6 and 4 finalists until she was announced as the winner of the Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2025 title. She was crowned by her predecessor Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2024 and Miss Cosmo 2024 Ketut Permata Juliastrid from Bali. In addition to winning the title, she also won the Top 3 Motion Challenge award. During the competition, Salma advocated for the role of women in STEM for Golden Indonesia.[4]
