"Saksi Ang Langit" (lit. 'Heaven's a Witness') is a song by Filipino band December Avenue. It was released as a digital single on November 25, 2022, through Tower of Doom, and was written by Ronzel Bautista and Muriel Danao. Different from the bands' regular previous songs about difficult experiences, "Saksi Ang Langit" is an indie pop alternative rock track that eloquently discusses love in its finest manifestations.[1]
The song went viral on social media nearly three years later due to Zeinab Harake and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. wedding and later on to become a sleeper hit.[2] It made a strong debut at number six on Billboard Philippines Hot 100 and number 3 on Top Philippine Songs on June 28, 2025, marking December Avenue's highest debut for a song in the Billboard Philippines charts.[3]
Background and release
Following their successful tour in Canada and the U.S., Filipino band December Avenue releases their single, “Saksi Ang Langit” on November 25, 2022.[1][4]
Composition and lyrics
The song was composed by Ronzel Bautista and Muriel Danao, and produced by December Avenue and Tower of Doom.[5]

Commercial performance
Originally released in November 2022, the song gained popularity again in 2025, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Philippines Top Philippine Songs and No. 6 on the Philippine Hot 100. The band played the song at the June 2025 wedding of Youtuber Zeinab Harake and professional basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr., which brought it a lot of media attention.[3] By the following week, the song rose to No. 2 on the Top Philippine Songs chart and No. 3 on the Philippines Hot 100.[6]
