SM Al Mamun is a Bangladeshi politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chittagong-4 constituency.[1]
Personal life
Mamun is the son of former Jatiya Sangsad member ABM Abul Kashem representing the same constituency.
Political career
In his political career, he was elected as Sitakunda Upazila Chairman in 2019 upazila elections and served for 5 years. In the 2024 Bangladeshi general elections, he was elected as a member of parliament after receiving the nomination of Awami League for the first time. He served as a Member of Parliament as well as a Member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
